Ronald Combs

Ron Combs passed away on April 12, 2019 in Nashville, AR at the age of 56. He was born on December 26, 1962 in Columbus, Ohio to Beatrice Griffith Combs and the late Flem Combs. Ron was one of Jehovah's Witnesses and devoted his later life to spread the word. He worked in retail management for the majority of his working career. He had jobs extending from small town Nashville, AR to Newark, DE to The Cayman Islands in The Caribbean. Ron had a deep love of music and loved playing his guitar. He loved people and enjoyed making them laugh. His main joys in the world were his children and his grandchildren and he loved his family dearly. Ron was preceded in death by his father Flem Combs, a baby brother Steven Douglas Combs and step father Hershel Jester. He was survived by his mother Beatrice Jester of Camden, AR., a daughter Anna Austin of Pell City, Alabama, a son Coty Combs of Nashville, AR, two Granddaughters Kara Pettit of Mandeville, Louisiana and Amelia Austin of Pell City, AL. One great grandson Kade Sheppard of Mandeville, Louisiana six sisters Sherry Combs of Center Point, AR, Mickey Prodell (Keith) of Nashville, AR, Karen Combs of Murfreesboro, AR, Libby Watkins of Columbus, Ohio, Melenna Horn of Camden, AR and Melvina Combs of Hot Springs, AR., One brother Flem Combs Jr. (Robie) of Mineral Springs, AR. as well as a number of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall in Hope Arkansas at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 16, 2019.
