Sherry Goodrum, age 83, of Nashville, Arkansas died on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 in Nashville, Arkansas. She was born October 18, 1937 in Camden, Arkansas the daughter of the late Freeman and Pauline Dunlap.
Mrs. Goodrum was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Nashville, she taught the young adults Sunday school class and was instrumental in starting the youth program, Wacky Wednesday. Mrs. Goodrum retired from Nashville Primary school after a thirty-six-year career in education. After retirement, she devoted several years to interior design.
She is survived by her husband of sixty-two years Joe Goodrum of Nashville, AR; one daughter Gaye Graham and husband Doug of Nashville, AR; two grandchildren Beth Yenser and husband Zach of San Jose, CA; D.J. Graham and wife Heidi of Prescott, AR; five great grandchildren Graham Yenser, Max Yenser, Griffin Graham, Maddox Graham, and Nash Graham.
Visitation will be 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M., Thursday, December 3, at Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Thursday, December 3, at Latimer Funeral Home, with Edwin Dale and Daniel Kirkpatrick officiating, burial will follow at Restland Memorial Park, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.
Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church in Nashville.
