Sherry Ann Woodard, age 73, passed away unexpectedly on September 29, 2025. Sherry was born to Edward and Pearl Steuart Waters on July 21, 1952 in Nashville, Arkansas.
She was a graduate of Murfreesboro High School, class of 1971 and a member of Eastern Star. Sherry worked for the Murfreesboro Post Office for many years.
Sherry was devoted to the Lord and loved being a part of First Christian Church. Sherry had a tremendous heart for giving and was dedicated to volunteer work with her church and church family. She had a green thumb and loved her flowers.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Don Cudd; daughter Marsha Ann Sutton; and granddaughter Katlynn Eve.
Sherry is survived by her husband , Vernon Woodard; sister Glenna Butler; daughters Alethiea J. Woodard and her children Kandyce Brooke Null and Charlie G. Clark IV; daughter Velvet Counts and her children Tekoda, Nevaeh, and Mahira Counts, Shekyna Stuard and husband Jack and their daughter Raylynn; daughter Cherish Nuckols and her children Tryston, Jathon, and Lyric Nuckols and Niles, and Nala Post; niece Sandy Austen; and nephew Jay Butler.
Visitation will be 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 4, at First Christian Church, 716 N. Washington St. Murfreesboro, Arkansas.
Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 4, at First Christian Church in Murfreesboro, with Bro. Brian D. Doyle and Rob Evans officiating, burial will follow in Mt. Tabor Cemetery, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro.
