Vicki Jo Byers

Vicki Jo Byers, age 76 of Murfreesboro, Arkansas, passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2026. She was born on January 3, 1950 in Prescott to the late George Lamb and Elizabeth McCullough Lamb.

Mrs. Byers was a member of the First Baptist Church in Murfreesboro. She loved to listen to music, cooking and traveling. She especially enjoyed going to car shows with her husband, Wallace. She loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren and looked forward to Sunday dinners with them. She was a happy person and enjoyed being with others.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Larry Lamb and a sister, Judy Lamb.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of almost fifty years, Wallace Byers; three children, Chad Gordon, Monica Dowdle and Jeremy Byers; a sister, Patsy Harris; seven grandchildren, Erica, Mandy, Dustyn, Devin, Kanyon, Kaygan and Kohen; seven great-grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 20, 2026 at Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro.

A funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, September 21, 2026 in the Latimer Funeral Chapel with Danny Eckert officiating. Interment will follow at Ozan Cemetery in Bingen, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home of Murfreesboro.
