Obituary

Danny Lewallen, age 76, of Hope, Arkansas passed away on Friday, April 28, 2023 in Hope, Arkansas.  He was born January 4, 1947 in Prescott, Arkansas to the late Ercel and Virgie Lewallen. 

Danny was raised in Delight, Arkansas and enjoyed hunting in his younger days and riding the hills of Delight.  He enjoyed the hot summer days of Arkansas weather and lived in Hope, Arkansas.  During his career he worked at Hope Star, International Paper, and various automotive parts stores.

Survivors include his wife of fifty-six years Peggy Lee Lewallen of Hope, AR; one son Ercel Waylon Lewallen and wife Lacretia of Hope, AR; his super grandkids Isabella (Belle) Lewallen and Reagan Lewallen both of Hope, AR; one special aunt Mary Nell Trout; as well as a number of special nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 1, at Delight Cemetery, with Bro. Larry Miller officiating, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.

Pallbearers will be Keith House, Dewayne House, Gary Puryear, Brandon Puryear, Travis Cogburn, Waylon Lewallen, and Sonny Lee

Honorary pallbearer will be Reagan Lewallen
