Evelyn May

Evelyn May, age 77, of Nashville, Arkansas, died Thursday, April 29, 2021 in Tybee Island, Georgia.  She was born July 17, 1943 in Leeds, Alabama the daughter of the late Grady and Rosie Bell Vick Salster.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Harold May, one son David May, sister Helen Faulkner, and three brothers Melvin, Jimmy, and Jack Salster.

Survivors include one daughter Lajan May Barfield of Nashville, AR; grandchildren John Pollock and wife Alisha, Derek Clifton, Nicki Clifton, Tasha Barnes, Harold (Sporty) May, Kyra Chainy, eleven great grandchildren, as well as eleven nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 5, 2021 in Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 6, 2021 at Ozan Cemetery in Bingen with Bro. Bruce Short officiating, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.
