Glenda Sue (Castle) Runnels

Glenda Sue Runnels “Susie” age 53 of Provo, Arkansas went to her Heavenly home on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born December 16, 1968 in Nashville, Arkansas to Delbert Castle and Glenden Wheat.

She was a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, fishing, camping, crocheting, and spending time with family and friends. She served on Provo Volunteer Fire Department and was a Hunters Education Instructor for the Arkansas Game and Fish.

She was preceded by her parents, her grandmother Kristine Castle, children Angel, Angelic, and Charles Castle and Best Friend Julie McGehee.

She is survived by her husband David Runnels, two sons Thomas Stanley and Justin Runnels, one daughter Amber Runnels, one adopted daughter Tawana “TJ” Newton. Four grandkids Bella, Annabelle, Remington and Jayden. Two bonus grandkids Andrew and Hateya. Three brothers Johnny Irons, Dale Castle and Lee Payton. Three sisters Tammy McRae, Debbie Crinion and Christina Irons. And a host of nieces and nephews and other family and friends.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
