Helen Marie Sanders McAdams

Helen Marie Sanders McAdams, 88 of Saratoga, Arkansas passed away on Monday, March 13, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving family.  She was born November 16, 1934 in Saratoga, Arkansas.  The daughter of the late Marshall and Nannie Mae Sanders.

Helen was a 1952 graduate of Saratoga High School. She was a member of Saratoga church of Christ.  She spent countless hours volunteering at schools in the various towns she and Joe lived in.

Helen was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Joe Robert McAdams and sister Nina Pennington.

She leaves to cherish her memory brother Marshall “Bud” Sanders (Marica) of Wellston, OK, sister Kathy Pierce (Dick) of Saratoga, AR, sons Johnny Ray McAdams (Terry) of Grandbury, TX, Dale McAdams of Texarkana, AR, daughters Cheryl McJunkins (Joe) of Saratoga, AR, Dawn Forthman (Mike) of Arkadelphia, AR, Rorie Hinds (Shane) of Fouke, AR, daughter in law Vickie McAdams of Ashdown, AR, and special brother in law John “Johnny” McAdams of Ashdown, AR.  Eleven grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren and her loving and faithful dog Goldie.

Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, March 16, at Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 17, at Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville, with Jake McAdams and Jimmy Dale Fincher officiating, burial will follow in Saratoga Cemetery, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.
