Lawrence Hubert “Joe” Ledbetter, age 77 of Murfreesboro, Arkansas passed away Saturday, May 13, 2023 in Hot Springs, Arkansas. He was born January 15, 1946 the son of Loyd H. Ledbetter and Melba Fae Turner Ledbetter.
Mr. Ledbetter was a member of Trinity Missionary Baptist Church in Murfreesboro. By trade Joe was a carpenter for many years, he enjoyed fishing and never met a stranger.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Bill Ledbetter.
Survivors include his wife of fifty-seven years Reda Gregory Ledbetter of Murfreesboro, AR; one son Larry Ledbetter and wife Tonya of Benton, AR; one daughter Sheri Ledbetter Nettles and significant other Doug Blansett of Murfreesboro, AR; two brothers Jimmy Ledbetter of Caddo Gap, AR, Danny Ledbetter of Stonewall, LA, five sisters Kathy Bright of Mineral Springs, AR, Nona Bailey of De Queen, AR, Louise Raulerson of Mineral Springs, AR, Twyla Almond of Murfreesboro, AR, Lela McChesney of Clarksville, AR, grandchildren Jayla Fuller and husband Danny, Bethany Ledbetter, Sarah Bennett and husband Garrett, Lacy Anderson and husband Justin, Haley Mack, Cory Seals, Cody Seals, John David Watson and wife Allie, thirteen great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be 1:00 p.m., until service time, Tuesday, May 16, at Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 16, at Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro, with Bro. Curtis Abernathy and Bro. John David Watson officiating, burial will follow in Palestine Cemetery, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro.
Pallbearers will be Cory Seals, Cody Seals, Ted Hinds, Steven Turner, Rodney Ledbetter, and Matthew Cook.
