Obituary

Mary Angelina Goolsby, age 56, of Murfreesboro, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, August 20, 2023 at her home in Murfreesboro.  She was born March 28, 1967 in Roseburg, Oregon the daughter of that late John Harris and Donna Debau Harris.

Mrs. Goolsby was a member of the Hope Missionary Baptist Church.  She enjoyed teaching Sunday school.  She loved the river, hunting, and fishing, but more importantly she loved her grandbabies.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a nephew Robert Graffius and a niece Brandi Morrow.

Survivors include her husband James Goolsby of Murfreesboro; three sons Kelly Harris, Rodney Harris and Hayden Goolsby; four grandchildren Aliea Goolsby, Arlea Goolsby, Jamison “Rooster” Goolsby, and Roman Goolsby; one brother Butch Hanson of Norfolk, VA; four sisters Dena Harris of Nashville, Lori Morrow of Nashville, Becky Isabell of South Carolina, Joanna Adams of Hope, AR; as well as a number of nieces, nephews, and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 26, 2023 at Grace Baptist Church in Bingen. Cremation services are under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro.
