Randy Lavoyce Stone

February 14, 1956 — January 26, 2022

Delight

Randy Lavoyce Stone, age 65, passed away on January 26, 2022, at his home in Wills Point, Texas.  He was born February 14, 1956 to Dewey Stone and Jackie Sue Haltom in Arkadelphia, Arkansas.

Randy grew up and lived the majority of his life in Delight, Arkansas.  He was a millwright by trade but a lover of the outdoors at heart.  He loved to hunt.  When he had children, he was taking them out deer hunting in diapers and riding in an old truck in “the hills” at Delight.  This love of being outdoors continued throughout his life and now, instead of an old truck, he was using a side-by-side to take his grandkids riding.  Randy loved music and imparted a love of classic rock to his kids and loved ones.  He leaves many memories of listening to classic rock vinyl albums on his stereo at the loudest volume on the stereo.  Randy was a member of the Antoine Baptist Church in Antoine, Arkansas.  He was a kind, loving, funny, man who will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Randy is preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Cris Stone; and a sister, Rhonda Stone.

Randy is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Kay (Swearingin) Stone of Wills Point, Texas; a son, Christopher Stone and wife Courtney (Denton) Stone of Delight, Arkansas; a son, Chase Stone of Delight, Arkansas; grandchildren: Mason Stone, Max Stone and Spencer Stone of Delight, Arkansas and Katherine Stone of Hot Springs, Arkansas; a sister, Dana Stone of Murfreesboro, Arkansas and a special mother, Lynda Stone of Murfreesboro, Arkansas.
