Robert DeWayne Watson

Robert DeWayne Watson, age 58, of Delight, Arkansas was taken from this world suddenly on September 5, 2021 in Little Rock, Arkansas.  He was born September 9, 1962 in Murfreesboro, Arkansas the son of Robert Watson and the late Barbara Mansfield Watson.

He and his family attended Pleasant Home Church of Christ where he sometimes led singing.  He worked as a welder and farmer.  Bobby enjoyed visiting with his friends and family, playing his guitar with his dad and son, as well as hunting and fishing.  He was loved by all and we will hold him in our hearts forever.

In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by his grandparents, aunts, uncles, and a cousin.

Survivors include his loving wife and best friend of thirty-four years Melissa Watson of Delight, his son Conner Watson of Delight, father Robert Watson of Little Rock, three sisters Dawn Sullivan and husband Ken of Mabelvale, Becky Carr of Mabelvale, and Gina Watson of Little Rock; two nephews; Kyle Sullivan and wife Callie of Little Rock, and Drew Sullivan of North Little Rock; one niece Haley Taylor and husband David of Searcy; and many other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 10, at Pleasant Home Cemetery, with Jesse Walker officiating, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro.
