Wilburn Barnes

Wilburn W. Barnes, age 89, of Nashville, Arkansas died on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 in Dierks, Arkansas.  He was born on July 2, 1931 in Sheridan, Arkansas the son of the late Earl and Lois Hale Barnes.

Mr. Barnes was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church and served in the United States Navy.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister Mamie Taylor and one brother Herbert Barnes.

Survivors include his wife of fifty-four years Ruthy Barnes of Nashville, AR; as well as a number of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Graveside services will be 10:00 A.M., Saturday, May 15, at Nashville Cemetery, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.
