William Bill Rather

William “Bill” Haskell Rather, age 82, of Nashville, Arkansas, died on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at his home.  He was born April 10, 1938 in , Delight AR, the son of the late William Ruel and Minnie Ethel Applegate Rather.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Wanda Lavetta Rather, two daughters Patricia Bernice Rather and Patsy Loretta Sigman, three sisters Velora Womack, Cloie Hewitt, and Emogene Gilbert, and one brother James Preston Rather.

Survivors include two sons James (Missy) Rather, Bo (Jennifer) Rather; four daughters Jaunita (James) Stinson, Latricia (Frank) Ross, Jennifer Rather, Patricia Rather, two sisters Betty Grantz and Vahnita Spears, numerous grandkids, great grandkids, a son in law Roy Stinson, and a very special friend Cricket.

Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 P.M, Monday, November 16, at Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro.

Graveside services will be 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, November 17, at Delight Cemetery with Bro. Joe Kelley officiating, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro.
